Sayalni does not only focuses on feeding poor and homeless people, but it also focuses on providing chances to people to live a dignified life and spreading happiness.
Saylani also provides residence to its workers and other needy people. Saylani apartments are also situated at Memon Goth, Karachi. There are two blocks having sixteen apartments in each block. Unfortunately, like all other areas, the residents of this area are also suffering from several hours of load shedding which badly affects the daily activities also.
The volunteers working under Sawayra visited Sayalani apartments on March 27th, 2021 for load analysis and roof measurement with the aim of installing solar panels.
DETAILS
The apartments to these residents are given on a monthly installment of five thousand rupees for a period of fifteen years.
Each apartment has three rooms, one lounge, one kitchen, two washrooms and a gallery. On an average, the apartments only had basic load e.g., lights, fans, fridge, LCD, washing machine and iron.
Following is the top view of the apartment which shows its roof’s layout which was needed to decide the suitable place for placing the solar panels.

Following is the picture of K-Electric meters of all the apartments which are located at the ground floor of the building.
